Movie review : Life of Pi

 

 

Pi's father owned a zoo but the municipal is no longer funding the zoo and hence his father had decided to migrate to Canada with all the family members. They board a cargo ship with the animals and out of the blue, there is a storm, followed by a shipwrecking.

Pi lost his family members during the storm and he himself survived in a lifeboat with a zebra, an orangutan, a hyena and a Bengal tiger. They were adrifted in the Pacific Ocean and Pi needs to find a way to survive thru forging an unexpected connection that gave him daily motivation to live. Life of Pi released in Year 2012 and directed by renowned director, Ang Lee is about a tale of faith, hope and the fight to survive.
